As the founder of Elite Training Source, Rachelle brings a wealth of knowledge and coaching experience to the program. Prior to university, Rachelle represented Saskatchewan in softball at the Jeux du Canada Games in London, Ontario. Again representing Saskatchewan in hockey at the Esso Women's Nationals in 2000 and 2001, capturing the Midget AAA Provincials and Western Shield Championship.

An extensive background in athletics, Rachelle was given the opportunity to become a double sport student athlete at the NCAA level in both hockey and softball at Mercyhurst College (Erie, PA). While at Merchyhurst, Rachelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and upon graduation, entered into the fitness industry and has continued to grow as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Sheila (Junior) Kelly

Sheila has been an enthusiastic participant in sports for 20 years, bringing experience from both playing and coaching hockey. She played both boy’s and girl’s hockey in the St. John’s Minor system, attaining all-star status every year. Sheila captained team Newfoundland and Labrador in the 2003 Canada Winter Games played at Acadie Bathurst, New Brunswick. Sheila was highly recruited by St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) in Antigonish , Nova Scotia being awarded the Danny Gallivan Scholarship for both athletics and academics. She played 5 years for the X-women, winning 3 AUS championships, and representing the conference at 3 CIS national championships. She was named to the first all-star team twice as well as being awarded most sportsmanlike player.

Sheila has had many years experience in the coaching field. She was an instructor at Wally Bray’s Hockey School in St. John’s for 6 summer sessions, and an instructor in the Initiation Program for 2 years While at StFX, she also had the opportunity to instruct the X-women hockey camp as head instructor. Sheila also was an assistant coach for the X-women for one season.

At StFX, Sheila completed a degree in Human Kinetics with a Bachelor of Science and went on to also obtain her Bachelor of Education degree. She attained All Canadian Academic Status during her last three years.

She has recently moved to Calgary to pursue her teaching career as well as still be involved in hockey. Recently, she won the Calgary city championship as a member of the Calgary Coyotes, and the Western Shield as a valuable pickup by the Red Deer Bandits.

Lyndsay Brown

Lyndsay

Lyndsay has excelled at athletics and academics. She was a key member of high school and Ontario provincial (Rep) level teams in field hockey, soccer and ice hockey, while maintaining Honours academically. These accomplishments lead to a number of hockey scholarship offers from NCAA Division I schools.

She chose Mercyhurst College, one of the Top 10 small colleges in United States. While at Mercyhurst, her team earned their way into the top 5 Division I hockey programs in the country. While playing elite women's hockey, Lyndsay also completed university with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a Major in Business. Her combined academic and athletic accomplishments were recognized with her twice receiving the Sisters of Mercy Award for leadership abilities and being a team player. She also won the championship all 4 years, as part of the Central Hockey America All – Academic Team.

Not only has Lyndsay excelled as a hockey player, but her sister, Lauren, has been the Ontario University Athletic MVP twice and her brother, Krys, currently plays in the NHL with the Dallas Stars.

  • Team Points leader – Peel Storm, Ontario Silver Medallist, Intermediate AA women's hockey 2000
  • Scholarship to Mercyhurst College, Erie, Pennsylvania 2001 - 2004
  • Point leader in her Freshman year; career stats place her in top 10 at Mercyhurst.
  • Selected as a team captain in her Senior year, when the team achieved #5 ranking in the country.
  • Shooting Instructor at Rick Heinz Summer Training Camp 2001, 2002
  • GLWHA Champions 2001 & 2002
  • CHA Champions 2003 & 2004
  • On ice / Off ice instructor at Canadian Hockey Enterprise Summer Camp (2003, 2004)
  • Completed the 3M National Coaching Certification Program
